Born in Milano in 1992, currently based in Venezia, Italy,
In my work I use the photographic medium to investigate the relationship between man and space, natural and anthropized, looking for the signs that human activity carves in the landscape, searching for hierophanies.
I hold an M.A. in architecture at Politecnico di Milano, with a thesis entitled The Space of the Spirit, that was developed in Jerusalem and based on the relationship between architectural space and spiritual need.
My photographic commissions include institutions such as La Biennale di Venezia, The Pace Gallery, Thaddeus Ropac Gallery, European Cultural Center, Venice Production Bridge, Cortona on the Move, Fotografia Europea, Images Gibellina, Photolux, Archivio Muzio, MUST. and architects, designers and artists such as Eduardo Souto de Moura, Paolo Dell’Elce, Atelierzero, Fabiano Cocozza, Synoptic Office, Luce Coillet, Helen Teede, Karen McCoy.
My photos have been published in digital and printed periodicals such as AD, Archdaily, Artribune, Bicitech, Deezen, Designboom, Domus, Haaretz, Juliet, Massa, La Nazione, Perimetro, Le Quotidien de l’Art, Sloft, Vogue, Yedioth Ahronot and in the book The Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth. Where the Word Became Flesh (De Gruyter, Berlin 2020).
My work has been exhibited in Ca ‘Brutta 1921, Giovanni Muzio Opera prima (Milano, Castello Sforzesco, 2016), in In the Making (Venezia, Palazzo Bembo, 2021) and in the personal exhibition Non può essere solo treno, part of Riaperture OFF photofestival (Ferrara, 2021).
I often collaborate with my friend Matthieu Samadet, French photographer and video-maker
